Family T.I.E.S

About the Program:

FAMILY T.I.E.S. is designed to offer training, information, education, and support to parents and children. Recognizing that there is no one right way to parent, FAMILY T.I.E.S. believes that it is important to share with parents information about how children learn, discipline, realistic expectations, and developmental stages.

Children Birth to Three:

Parent Educators, using Parents As Teachers curriculum, provide support and encouragement to families through:

• Monthly Home Visits
  
• Developmental Information
  
• Toy and Book Lending Library
  
• Parenting Resource Library
  

Children Three to Five:

FAMILY T.I.E.S. offers a free preschool program in each school district. Children who are three by September 1 but who are not age-eligible for Kindergarten may be eligible for the FAMILY T.I.E.S. pre-kindergarten program.
The program provides:

• Developmentally appropriate activities
  
• Child-centered classroom
  
• Success for each child

• Parent/Child Interaction groups in local school districts

• Multiples groups for parents of twins and triplets
